my older sister, who lives in Australia, in getting married in January. it's her THIRD TIME!

we're not that close but I'd like to send a gift. they live in the middle of nowhere, and are doing up a shack of a house. they keep a lot of animals.

any ideas of a reasonably unbreakable gift I could post? the budget is.. I don't know, £50-ish.

thank you :o)

S-C, I like to get it right without asking.. it's a girl-thing ;o)

even though I'm asking everyone else!
Whereabouts does you sis live in Oz ?
Question Author
it's called Goroke, in Victoria
I posted a box to Oz a few weeks back - anything over 2kg was too expensive to send by air, you might want to bear in mind that surface mail takes several weeks, you'd need to post it NOW....

it's the last week of January, Boxy.. but I know it takes ages and can be expensive :o/

hoping to get something moving this week x
That's remote.

With all that surrounding farmland silk scarves to keep off locusts or yards of netting for mossies & catching spiders :)

lol, they've been there for a while so I'm assuming they're as bug-proof as you can be.

rather them than me though :o/
How about sending an Amazon voucher, so they can order what they want, themselves? or do they have a PayPal account, you could put some cash in, ditto?
oooh my 3rd was the best...........we didn't want presents as we had a house each anyway. We asked for donations to various charities.
Question Author
boxy, I'm not a fan of vouchers.. unless I get stuck, of course ;o)

craft, if you'd done that for the others too, you could have eradicated world hunger!

and seriously, that's a nice idea.. but no mention of such from the Ozzie's :o/
