i need serious help with a gift.. and soon!

i just recently moved to a new school and i didnt make friends very quickly.. or as quickly as i usually do. but there was this one guy in one of my classes that was really nice to me when i first came. his birthday is coming up really soon.. like in two days and i want to get him something but i dont know what. i dont want it to be too personal because i am in a longterm relationship but just something to just kind of say thanks.. i dont know him very well either so that makes this process even harder. he will be 18 and all i know is he loves football and girls. any help would be appreciated

Be careful not to alienate the girls by giving him a present. Will a card not just suffice? People will think you fancy him by buying him a present and it may not help your fitting in process.

if you do want to get him something then get something like a CD/album. I don't know where you live but get 'the arcade fire' album or something. (how are you gonna know his music taste though?).

does he look like a indie music boy or a r'n'b hip hop bod?

i would go with a good old fashioned card and no slushy 'thank you' words in it.
