Oh my kit, that is a STONKER of a tree!
New lightbulbs, being green, I have decided that I am a member of the flat-earth society and that global warming is gonna happen anyway, and we'll survive somehow and adapt. I'm still recycling my rubbish but have to use the car as cannot manage all the different coloured bags so defeats the object. And local supermarket gives us a 1cent discount for not using a plastic bag, BUT they have started to wrap all veg and fruit in polystyrene and plastic - I ask you, is it any wonder I'm not a believer!!! And the local councillors who've decidedc in their wisdom to become green, drive blooming great 4x4 's!!!! gggrrrrr!
oh yes, I forgot about the tree, it's lovely...maybe I'd feel more festive if I lived in a place like Stockholm?

Neti I don't think global warming is man's fault (probably woman's tho, haha, with all that Elnett in the atmos) but I'm all for less pollution & less stupid packaging. It's all to get you to buy too much anyway, I don't want a whole box of mushrooms for heaven's sake or 50 carrots in a sealed bag, grrrrr...but if I had a car I'd use it to go next door, hehe...
Stupid weather put the kibosh on any car travel today (with sister) :o(
Weather buggared up my trip today, it was too bright and was blinding me, but I managed it.

I agree, Robi but have to buy 50 carrots, can't get them cheap enough anywhere else, they do look very sad after a while all limp and shrivelled! Have just had a slice of mr Kipling's Christmas cake slices and it is delicious so I've ordered one and will pop the m&s xmas cake into the freezer.
Buggared seems to be the word of the day as I have just done that to my light fitting. I was trying to get the bulb out with my rubber glove on and I smashed the surrounding shade all over the floor/ Sod It. So I have to buy a whole new fitting now.
Not a happy bunny!!
Oh no Jude! I keep saying (every time I bugg'r up a light fitting) that I won't have spot lights again, they're a right pain when they go, but what else is there for a kitchen? I don't like flourescent strip lighting. As long as you haven't hurt yourself, that's the main thing.
I just mailed you all suggesting a site for the grotto but Vinny bounced...can anyone else contact him in any way?
VINCENT!!! Clear ya mailbox at once please!!

That's how you do it woofy ;o)
SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM

I NEED SOME VALIUM AND A STIFF DRINK

People are a pain in the neck. I am going to have a chat with the dogs!!!

(Present company excepted, of course)
I've just been reading the Biddy Grotto thread well some of it. What a laugh. I was still working and was getting up at 6 in the morning to go. How things change. I now know I bought my Focus on 13th December 2005. Also that I bought 2 new Portaloos for the grotto one for us biddesses and one for Vinny. Crazzzeeee!!!
My inbox is clear has a bell ..has been for days???:O(
Evening, possums. Don't know about Mr Kipling's Christmas cake but I do know about Ms Kip's. I bought a gingerbread cake with rhum icing yesterday... and it looks like I'll live to finish it - no bad side effects from the flu shot. (Am I safe now or can they come later?) My arm's quite sore around the injection area and arm and hand have felt a bit heavy and painful today, much like when you've slept like a log on one side, and I developed some tension across the forehead last night. But it's not scary or anything.

I laughed till I cried at Vinny's letter to the Ed. Don't think I'll be bringing my golf club out though, I had quite a pleasant correspondence - with Spare - around the time of my birthday when I asked that my name be removed* - so I won't club him unless of course he's unfaithful. In which case I'll club him like what Mrs Woods may have done (AND confiscate his balls).

*Here I googled for some Spanish oaths to intimate the identity of the guilty party without explicitly mentioning her name (I'm afraid). The mildest one I found was "I sh1t in your milk" and then the phone rang and I forgot what it is in Spanish and I don't want to go back to that site 'cos they do... erm ... things there and whenever they do... erm ...things on a site it's sure to give your puta a virus innit. Nevermind, it sounded like a cat's oath anyway.
Don't have any Valium lying about but try some sweet music Lottie (what happened??) Hope you're all able to view this Christmas song, it's on the site of one of our biggest morning papers, you may not be allowed http://www.dn.se/webb...at-av-elvis-1.1007039 ( If you can't view it, here's the same singer again, in a duet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnawhnS55Dc )
I'd find a new spanish page swedie, never heard of that expresson, but hijo de puta y coñyo are the most popular, but I will not translate them on here!
Just done a quiz on FB and my Christmas name is :

Tootsie Twinkle-toes - cute eh?
Swedie, just a frustrating day. Lots of things going on at the moment - selling land etc. which involves a large parcel of land owned by several people, including me - and it's just not easy!! Everybody seems to rely on me and I have had enough. They let me do all the running about while they sit back doing nothing but are quick to moan when things don't go their way. I have just sent some emails to those concerned saying I am not thinking about things or doing anything now until after Christmas because I am tired and need a break. They wanted another meeting next week and my head is in a mess. It's about time I showed some assertion.

Am now very, very tired and tense so am going to bed.
Ay caramba, I shall sh1t in their milk for you, Lottie xx.
Morning sleepy peeps...looks like we're off somewhere a little seasonal but thanks for letting us catch up on some sleep in here Sweedie...I could see the video thanks...tell her to get some clothes on if you see her, tut.

neti, is it ok to use that phrase the next time some idiot doesn't signal when he's turning the corner & I'm tottering across the road?

Lottie, just say 'sorry, no can do'....I learned to do that a while ago...and now no one dares to ask :o)

pssst...you might all want to pinch all the duvets & fluffy robes, it's a bit chilly over there...
vinny your beer related addy is telling me the box is full, but I have tried again
