Do charity shops take in second hand duvets and pillows? I've only had them for a couple of months. Or would it better if I just threw them away?

I have seen good second hand duvets and pillows on sale. If they're as new they are unlikely to turn them down

Thanks!
Cats Protection League will probably use them for bedding or if you want to benefit humans - hostels for the homeless are usually very grateful for this type of thing.
You could always advertise them on Freecycle, there is probably one in your area - lots of people would be only too grateful to be given them.
Do NOT throw them away! They will take anything that is saleable, whether it is new or not. Some of the prices in charity shops are almost the same as cheap new shops, so your donation will not be wasted.

Take them there tomorrow; someone will want them.
We gave some old towels, duvets, sheets and quilt covers to our local wildlife sanctuary, they were very grateful. So I echo all above, don't throw them away. Also you could try putting them on Freecycle. But if you do put them on Freecycle, wait for all the responses to come in. We've found locally that there are people roaming around responding instantly to all offers and making a business out of reselling. So I would wait until you can make sure your bits and pieces are going to someone who really does needs them.
