man's watch

looking to buy a man's watch,not digital but must have the date on it. hubby needs a cheap one to wear as he walks round factory now hes got a new job, doesnt want to ruin his 'posh' one! if im going to get it for him i suppose it cant be a metal strap as they need links taking out dont they? im probably looking at 30 pounds max.

In that price range, I'd go to Argos (very easy to return if unsuitable). Go for a leather strap, more comfortable than rubber or plastic and try to get a scratch-proof glass front rather than plastic.
