eBay Early Negative Feedback To Seller?

Is it wise to give a negative feedback to seller when a dispute hasn't been rised yet? Will it affect my dispute?

You need to give the seller reasonable time to put things right before leaving negative feedback. There is no going back once you have left it!
It wont affect your dispute but I dont understand why you would leave negative before you have given the seller the portunity to put it right
Give more information to us all, what did you buy and what were the details that meant it wasn't a good transaction?

I'm annoyed the seller lied about posting the item and ignored my request for a refund. Which made me had doubts about the item ever existed. I can't rise a dispute until next week.

I just want to give the seller an early negative feedback so others can avoid him.
what went wrong?.have you given the seller a chance to correct the problem?.......not enough info really!..............
I'd leave it as late as possible to know how the whole thing's panned out. But not too late because if the seller fobs you off for long enough, you run out of time to leave feedback, which I think isn't on.
You can open a dispute 10 days after the purchase. That is to allow enough time for the seller to package and post your item etc. Ask for proof of postage. What sort of feedback does the seller have at the moment. \Maybe he has posted and it is the mail that is at fault

I have given ample time for the seller but when ask for a refund the seller never replied. I know and he knows he has been caught out. Anyway, I'll just wait until next week to sort this out. Thank you all for your replies.
Oh yes and you can claim your money back from paypl for up to 40 days (I think that is correct) after that they wont intervene. They will find in your favour if he cannot provide proof of receipt by you not just proof of postage. I sell a lot on ebay and send everything recorded for that very reason. It proves my customer has received it.
OK do it then. I had a seller that sold me an item that was minging, but he said in his listing that it was new. I didn't leave a negative, but emailed him, complained, and told him the item was absolutely disgusting! , he refunded my money, but I really wish I had left him negative feedback so he couldn't do it to anyone else. Too late now. I can't stand liars.

@maclarencat The seller only registered about a month ago with one negative feeback already. And oh, the seller replies with very bad spelling text speak. I'm sure you can work out what sort of person the seller is.
Weren't you concerned about doing business with a newly registered seller who already had a negative feedback?
Put a claim in with paypal to get your money back. Hopeit works out well for you. People like that give genuine ebayers a bad name.
many sellers umm and ahh and make false promises in the hope that your time period to raise a dispute runs out
