Hey guys,
My sister has made a few teddys, they are really luxurious and well made from scratch. If she were to sell them, what kind of price do you think she could charge?.
Thanks for reading,
Soph

maybe an angle here would be bespoke products. i.e. she does them specially to order in the customers requirements - she could give them novelty names to match the recipient or maybe could incorporate a lock of babies hair in the stuffing to make it unique to the customer. I haven't looked at any of the photos, but if she could produce a high end product to order,...

Depends on how big they are. My suggestion:
1. Calculate the cost of materials.
2. Add on the cost of electricity (for sewing machine).
3. Assume an hourly rate of £4.00.
4. Add it all together, then double it, and see if anybody will be interested.
Doubling all the costs gives your sister some room for haggling.
Best of luck.

AB Editor, i was thinking about £25 myself... i can see what you mean, he does look a little sad
Quassia, yes they have been hand sewn, she may have to put some kind of label on 3+ or something similar. I think it would probably be more of a display kind of bear though... just an idea, she hasn't mentioned selling but i think it would be a good idea as she enjoys making them and can keep doing them if she can sell them on..
