What are polybags?

I'm studying culinary arts and the teacher said to pack the food we're going to prepare in poly bags what are those and where can i get them?

Where can you get them?

In any supermarket, where they're described (for example) as 'bags for food and freezer use' or simply as 'food bags'.

Poly= a short name for polypropylene, A type of plastic made for certain uses
