Gumtree
My area has a FaceBook page for buying and selling. Thought about checking to see if yours does?

You can also Ebay it, but stipulate that it's to be collected by the buyer.
freezer/dresser? odd combination!
you can specify local pick up only on ebay
the best place will be to go to www.ebay.com i think
gumtree or put a free ad in the local paper or you could put an ad in your local newsagent.
I sell things on eBay on a "Buyer Collects" basis.

Do you really need to sell the items? If not, there may be a freecycle organisation within your area.

On a few occasions I have successfully used ebay to dispose of things such as freezer, dishwasher, fitted kitchen cabinets and furniture that I would otherwise have had to take to the tip or pay to have taken away. I advertised them on ebay as 'buyer to collect' and got several offers on all of them within a few hours! People semed happy to drive 50 miles to collect.

I wasn't asking much though (£15 for freezer, £150 for kitchen cabinets, £100 for couch) so if you are looking to charge a high price you may not sell quite so quickly.

Having said that, when I got a new kitchen i got £100 for a five year old dishwasher that had cost me £200, which i thought wasn't a bad price for something that was just taking up space in my garage.
