Where's a good place to get a good mens one, preferably a warm material as it's for my father in the upcoming winter months. How do you iron these things anyway, suits usually have double material so wouldn't this be hard to to iron and you obviously never iron the outside of any garment so what's the story here?

Well, I hate wearing a suit but I think that you will find that washable suits will be made of all ( or mostly) man- made fibres, probably polyester and, hence, will not be warm at all. A warm suit would probably have lots of wool and would be dry-clean only.
In all honesty, if a suit is machine washable its not worth owning.
M & S do some nice wool mix ones.

They shouldn't need ironing after tumble drying, but of course you can press under a damp clean towel if you think it needs it.
try corporate wear catalogues and websites...they do this type of thing and as they are designed to be uniforms some are quite smart and they do a range of different qualities. some are even non iron which is better still
