Are there any shops that still sell covers for clothes, e.g. a coat; irrespective of whether you bought the coat at that shop; just an ordinary cover really? Ta Muchly.

Hi Woodelf:

I've never really thought about putting a coat (or similar) into any form of cover but a standard 'common or garden' suit cover would probably do the job.

Asda sell them online for £5.99
http://direct.asda.co...mId=xlmailpq&istBid=t
so it might be worth trying an Asda store.

Online they're cheaper (at £1.89) here:

but I've sometimes seen them in 'pound shops' and similar discount outlets as well.

As ever, Many Thanks Chris for your reply and research.
Cheaper still, and nothing wrong with it, is a bin liner with a hole for the hanger hook.
Dry cleaners sell them.

Many Thanks for that one JJ - and bin liners can get awfully clingy and some are smelly HF; yeah and we've even emptied 'em!
