Ebay help please if you can advise

I bought a Toyota dog guard for my car using Paypal on 23rd Dec. Understandably due to the holidays it was posted to me on 28th Ist class Royal Mail. It states 2 to 3 working days. I still haven't received it and emailed the seller yesterday.I said very nicely and politely that it had been 6 working days (28,29,30,31st,3rd,4th Jan) and could they confirm it had been posted 1st Class and was there a tracking number or anything? It was almost £15 postage but not recorded so not expecting a tracking number but thought I should ask! Anyway,still no reply to my email.

What should I do? Email again and say I will contact Ebay or contact Ebay and open a case. I don't want to get shirty at all...I just want my item.It's never happened before so I am unsure really. Just wondering if there is a backlog at the Post Office really and if I should leave it a little longer.

It's so rude when people can't take a few minutes to reply.That's what's irritating me more than anything! Thanks if you can help.

Contact the seller again & ask for the postage Session No, where it was posted, the time/ all details that they have, I would give it another week, I've had this myself but not at Xmas, Check the sellers Feedback ( You may have done this) to see if there has been any problems with other buyers. I would explain if you do not contact me within 7 days you will open a case with EBay.

barb I ordered 3 things on line between Christmas and NY, one from ebay, and they all came the next day or day after. In fact I was amazed at how fast they came. So, certainly round here, East Sussex, there is no problem with the mail.

I think you have a month to give positive feed back, which releases the payment to the vendor, I would give it another week. Awkward sized parcels seem to take longer.

Thank you for your replies.I think I will leave it until Saturday and if it's still not arrived,email the seller and ask for the postage info again and if still no reply I'll contact Ebay and open a case and let the seller know what I am doing. Many thanks all x
