Peacocks
8 Answers
We all clubbed together at work and bought a £40 gift card for a colleages 40th birthday from Peacocks. This only happened days before they went into administration. She has been told she is unable to spend it. I think its disgusting as the shop is still open and our money went in their till. I think they must have known when we bought this but they say not. She has to send a claim form off and see IF she can claim anything back. I usually shop a lot at Peacocks and so does she which is why I bought it from there but I think I will boycott them from now on

In our local store there is a notice saying about the administrati on and gift card fiasco. Apparently while one can not redeem the gift card in store, one can use them to shop on - line. I wonder if that might be a way around losing the value of the gifts.
