I really want to find a few vintage items to revive my wardrobe. I live in London and if I'm going to find it anywhere, it'll be here...but I haven't yet.

Does anyone know of any nice shops that stock such items?

don't know any shops myself.  can only suggest that you type 'vintage clothes london' into google.co.uk - loads of hits :o)

try going to Camden (the market and the shop Rocket on the high street). Camden is on the northern line in North London, don't go on a Sunday as it is v v v busy and the tube will be shut.

Have you tried charity shops? You can usually find some gems but you have to search.

Where I live in Stoke Newington, there are a few shops on Church Street that stock vintage. All at exorbitant prices I expect...

There's a nice shop called Yesterday's Bread on Carnaby Street.

It's either topshop or Miss Selfridge (or maybe both) - they are ajoined - on Oxford Circus have a vintage range.

Also, I've never been there but everyone I know always raves about Portobello Road...don't know how vintagey it is though...

Brick Lane and Spitalfields areas have some really cool vintage shops.  Not badly priced some of them either, so worth taking a look.
