its me mates 21st coming up and im a bit broke only got a tenna or summit. any suggestions what i can get him, hes a typical lad likes booze, films etc. thanks for any help :p

You and all the rest of his mates chip in for his beer all night, then finish with a curry and he'll be made up. I know it's the same as you do every week, but this time he'll be the centre of attention all night.

If he's already got a party booked, why don't several of you chip in �10 each and get him something to remember it by: a chain or a bracelet, whatever jewellery he likes to wear.

At this time of year you could all go off somewhere: hire a minibus and go to the coast for the weekend or something.

have you known him a long time? What about burning a cd of all the music you grew up with - or just tracks that you have both boogied to in the past?

If he's a true mate, he will understand that you can't afford much.

If he is anything like you then you could always get him a fake burberry hat, that's all the range for chavs right now. They are only about 50p as they are grotesque looking fake chav brand.
