Please, does any A-ber know anything about so-called gripper knickers that Carol Vorderman supposedly wears to flatten her tummy?  Any information would be great.

I think they are those big knick's with the tummy panel so they give the impression of a ultra flat tummy, however I know people who have worn them and they say they make you feel like you can't breathe.  I wouldn't know as I have never worn them.  I think M&S may sell them....they are huge (have you seen Bridget Jones number 1 - she wears them) - good luck!  Happy shopping!

I got some from M&S, and yes Mr Spuqueed does call them my Bridget Joneses! But brilliant for getting the right shape when wearing a dress!

Many thanks  nuoyg and spudqueen.  It is only my tummy that is big and I do need some help to disguise it.

You can get them as a thong- Debenhams sell some made by someone called Nancy Someoneorother. They are still big but not as big as Bridget's!
