7 Answers
My OH suffers from sore soles of the feet. he tells me it feels after a while it feels as if he's walking on a pebbe beach bare footed.
Someone has reccomended 'Prolotex' socks.
I can't find 'em. only USA sites. Does anyone know a shop in the High St I will find them?
Has anyone tried them.

I strongly suspect that Prolotex's advertising claims of 'dynamic far infrared therapy' wouldn't stand up the scrutiny of our Advertising Standards Authority.
Save your money and invest in some shock-absorbing insoles instead:

Medical science tells me I have the beginnings of peripheral neuropathy in the soles of my feet manifesting itself as the feeling that my socks are bunched up under my toes, hot/cold and some minor pain if I wear my dancing shoes out and about.
I get great relief from a: moisturising the soles of my feet regularly and b: wearing shoes or boots with a more "outward bound" kind of sole.

Thanks Chris........ You're probably right in what you say but OH has asked me to look into it, you know what its like one is always looking for some miricle cure.
Doug, Thats exactly how ne discribes the feeling, as if his socks are all rucked up. You're the first to understand that. His GP didn't.
You've both been a great help. Tah! xx
