Not sure what category this should come under! I want to create a reasonably priced photobook about my father's life. It will involve including photos, birth/marriage certificates and writing quite a lot of text. 2 photobooks I've tried have proved unsuitable for the amount of text involved. Can anyone help - I am UK based.

Try some scrapbooking software - most of these are american and downloadable rather than buy on disk, but they seem very flexible and might be the result you are after.
A couple of years ago, I used BLURB to make a photobook.
You have the choice to fill each page with photos, with text or with a mixture.
You can choose the size, font and colour of the text or even split the page into columns.

I found it very versatile. (http://www.blurb.co.uk)
Have you tried 'mypublisher.com'? 'printerpix' is another one. Groupon often have offers on various photo books. I did, or rather my daughter-in-law did one from mypublisher for my husbands 70th. We did one of a special holiday in Venice from printerpix but found the software a bit 'cluncky' but the book was very successful!

Hi Grange
Did go into MyPublisher and it seemed to suit then I discovered it was actually printed in America. As I'll be ordering 9 identical copies, thought the postage would be astronomical (maybe not the case) so for that reason was looking for a UK based website.
Yes, sorry, I should have realised that! Can,t remember what we paid for ours but there was only one!Printerpix was OK and UK based. Hope you find something!
