Where can I sell my VHS Video Cassettes ????

Is there a site that buys video cassettes?
I was thinking of donating them to a charity shop but very few people buy video tapes nowadays so they might get stuck with them.
It would be a shame to just throw them in the bin. They are all in good condition and working order.

I think I remember reading somewhere that charity shops don't want them any more.
I have quite a collection but can't watch them any more, so I hope you get an answer

I asked the same question. Charity shops dont want them. Cannot recycle them. Ended up binning them. Seems and awful waste

I have sold some at Car Boot sales but usually get only 20p for them. I don't think ebay is worth considering because of the high postage costs.

Changing the subject slightly, I had a lot of music cassettes I no longer need. I did sell quite a few music cassettes individually on ebay for 49p or 99p each (plus postage)- they are fairly small so postage costs are not too bad.

I took some VHS tapes to a charity shop recently (my mother had died and left a load) and the shop did not want them.

I even had a set of blank unused VHS tapes that they did not want, though they reluctantly took them when they remembered an old man who came in now and again looking for tapes.

Put an ad in your local paper. Buyer collects or you deliver locally sounds the best bet.

I still have a few VHS tapes and have been converting them digitally. After that I will be doing as I suggested to you.
