Picture frame
Sorry, my response was a bit abrupt. I think a nice picture frame in which they could put a wedding photograph in is a great present. Or how about a vase?
crystal vase
Washing up bowl with washing liquid, sponge/scourer , dish cloth and tea towels.
it was a long time ago.

i persuaded them not to commit to where they spent their wedding night prior to flying away on their honeymoon the next day.

i drove them away from the reception to a hotel that i had booked and paid for.

it was a nice surprise for them not knowing where they would spend their wedding night.

i also drove them to the airport the next day.
That sounds like a wonderful idea, but I suspect it would cost more than £25.
the hotel room cost no more than £25.
i did say it was a long time ago.
Ha ha!!
A bottle of champagne. One of our friends paid for a bottle of champagne to be in our hotel room on our wedding night :)
any of these any good, flip?
A nice wall mirror. Every wedding we go to we buy a nice mirror. Years later if we visit 9 times out of 10 its displayed somewhere. Lets face it we never have too many mirror's.

Can you round up photos from family and friends and put them into an album?
The most useful wedding present we received was a cheque especially to pay the forthcoming Rates. (Now Council Tax).
It came with a suggetion that we put money aside each payday towards next year's bill and we did that.
It encouraged saving to pay for all things instead of using credit.

So somehow the cheque needs to be given with a suggestion that they open a building society account especially for saving as above.
