Thinking on getting one of these:
Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
For my son for Christmas - he is very interested in technical drawing as well as art in general.
does anyone know if they are any good or can suggest a better one for around the same price or a bit more?

A good starter's model. If he is at all involved with digital arty stuff you'll never get him back on a mouse. But it would be better to be able to have a go on it before buying.

Thanks Mosaic that looks very interesting - I'll do a bit more investigating later. I thought I had found the ideal drawing board as it was a student package with the set squares and things he wanted too - apparently it's no good though as he is insistent that the one he gets must raise and lower on an angle!! Literally back to the drawing board!!!
Thanks rattyrat - that sounds good - he has also listed a gaming mouse so I guess he is not intending to move away from the mouse entirely.
