Any girls recommend a good place to buy: shoes for work in an office, must be cool (as in not hot) for summer, must be flat no heels and must be black. Don't want an open toe either. Been looking everywhere but can't find. shop names and/or links to pics would be fab! thanks

They both do free delivery and there are always lots of shoes in the sale. Of course there's lots of styles/shapes besides black and flat, but you should be able to find something there. Good luck.

I got some flat black dap things with a little flower on them from New Look.  Only 20.  They're nice and smart, but you can wear them on the weekend too.  You might be on a bigger budget than me - but if you wanted to save yourself money, they're worth a look!

Couldn't find a pic online - sorry.  They're like the Rocket Drag Ballet ones on the schuh website, only without the lacey bits!

I agree with acw...New Look do some ace shoes for a mere snip of a price.  I always used to get the sassy pointed toe skinny heeled scenarios and spend silly cash.  Well I work in Londres and they used to get cained, the heel tips wear down, the heels get caught in pavement cracks etc etc and I was getting peeved...someone told me about new look shoes and they are fab!   If you work in London you must visit the flagship store at marble arch!  Shoe heaven!
I got some that would fit that description from Clarkes, but last year. Don't know if they've got any this year.
New Look recently won an award for their shoes, so it's worth having a browse. I've seen fantastic leather flats for as little as 20.
Have you tried Jones?  I had problem finding the right shoe from work recently because I didn’t want a sandal and I can’t walk in heels and found a pair in there.  They’ve got a sale on, on their website, so you could get a bargain.. http://www.jonesbootmaker.com/ebusiness1/store/product_l ist.jsp?id=4&mid=-1
