It's very unlikely that you can buy them on-line in the UK, IMO - you're not allowed to list items like that on eBay, for example. If you bought them from the US, I think they'd be confiscated at Customs.

That's cutlery, but I stand corrected - you CAN import throwing knives https://www.gov.uk/import-controls-on-offensive-weapons as long as you have a legitimate reason for importing them.
