E-Bay Non-Delivery
22 Answers
I ordered some items from e-bay and had an e-mail on 4th December to say they had been dispatched. As there was no sign of them I e-mailed the seller 3 days ago.
She said she had proof of postage and would get back to me after visiting the post office (she hasn't been in touch since)
What comeback do I have if the stuff doesn't turn up, will I have to wait the requisite 15 days to file it as missing with Royal Mail, and then what happens?
Bit annoyed with the seller tbh, there were 5 identical items for sale, I wanted three and asked for a combined postage rate. After several e-mails it was agreed that they would be sent 1st class signed for, but it turns out they were actually sent by 2nd class economy!
Sorry it's a bit long winded, any advice much appreciated.

Ebay will also remove the sale price from the sellers Paypal account ( as long as you paid by Paypal) and put it on 'Hold' until the problem is resolved. If...

i would also state that it is not too soon, given that you paid to have them delivered quickly and safely by recorded delivery so you expected them to arrive within a few days - and she has attempted to cheat you and now they are lost - make sure you note that in the messages to ebay and in the FB you leave her.
the cheek of her being arsey with you - when you have every right to be peeved at her!
i would also note that you wanted these things for xmas and now her attempts to cheat you has meant you may not get them

Thanks joko, I decided to give her a day to stew and hopefully think about her hasty (and yes, arsey!) e-mail!
Seems to have worked, she has been to the post office today and got a claim form ready to submit if the items do not arrive by 24th, and will also refund me.
Yes it really annoyed me that she offered the signed for delivery, then decided to make a bit more profit by sending them economy, well it looks like that little scam backfired!
Still leaves me without the items I wanted though :(
