Can anyone recommend a shop/website that I buy trousers for my elderly mother (90yrs) that are thick and warm! I'm having trouble finding any!

m&s sell quite an amount of older person clothes, in fact my daughter was very vocal on the subject when we went clothes shopping last!

Just a thought, when I go walking in very cold weather I find it warmer to put thick tights on under my walking trousers. Have you considered wool tights for your Mum?

My daughter was the same on Friday cazzz, she recently got £100 M&S vouchers for subscribing to SKY TV and she really struggled to buy anything for her age group (23) with them, she resorted to underwear and nightwear in the end.

My other half's 76 year old mother buys most of her clothes from Edinburgh Woollen Mill, she swears by them for quality,durability and warmth.

On the subject of M&S, why do all their Per Una cardigans and jumpers have really unflattering horizontal stripes?

The EWM website does have lots of nice washable clothing, (my mother is in a nursing and they seem to wash & dry everything at 100%, nothing ever looks the same!)
Tights.....never thought of that, brilliant idea!
