11.400 x 7 divided by 100 = 798 20 divided by 100 =957.6

Surely it took longer to type out and submit that question than to actually work it out?

Do these in small steps.
1% of £11400 is £114
So 7% = 7 x 114 = £798

Then add the VAT which is at 20%.
10% of £798 is £79.80
So 20% = £159.60


Adding that to the £798 gives £957.60

Or just do 11400 x 0.07 x 1.20= 957.60
