Child's Car Seat Protector
8 Answers
I'm looking for a car seat protector for a Maxi-cosi Axiss.
My toddler is pretty well potty trained, but I'd just like to protect the car seat until she's a pro!
Any ideas?

I'll try googling as above.
Yes, benobs, that's the rotating one. I really like it. It's really easy to get #1 in and out and then it just swings round and clips in place. Sometimes the clip needs a bit of a shoogle, but it has a green indicator so you know it's in place.
I would recommend it to anyone.

I'll try my best to describe the harness, bednobs!
There are two staps, one on each side of the child. The strap goes from the shoulder to the waist in a big loop. The harness consists of two clips that fit together and slot into the button-y bit. You then have to tighten the straps up by pulling on a strap at the bottom of the chair. You do need to give it a fair pull to get it tight enough.
To release, you press the red button and the two clips pop out. To give you a bit of length to get the straps of the child's arms you have to press a button under the red button (don't worry, the child will never be able to reach this or press it when the straps are on).
Clear as mud?
I got mine in Mothercare. I'm sure if you went in they would show you (better than I've described it anyway!).

I REALLY like the seat! I got it for #1 when I was heavily pregnant and the thought of trying to wrestle her into a front facing seat gave me nightmares.
It's so easy to get her in and just swing it round. You can set it so it goes either way, but once it's in place in the car you need to remove it to change it to go in the other direction.
You can change the height of the shoulder straps quite easily too.
It will tip slightly to let your wee one nap, but not by much to be honest. But our daughter could sleep on a washing line so it's not really a problem for us.
I got mine on offer in Mothercare. For reasons unknown, the black one was £50 cheaper than the other colours.
