Has anyone seen any reasonably priced lunch boxes (Moshi Monster, Monster High, etc). The ones I have found so far (Argos and Woolworths) are £15 (!!!!!!) and I am not prepared to pay that (but don't want to get super plain ones either). Thanks.

Forgot about that - want to try and get them all from the same place to save on postage.
Boy? Girl?

Mini Boo has this one, also from Amazon, it's lasted well over a year and I sling it in the washer every week too.

i didn't look at what they were, but i was looking fro water bottles in asda and the lunch boxes all seemed to be around £5-8
fluff loves a lunch box...
I have seen them in large Tescos, Asdas.. and Matalan. Sure they were not that expensive. usually around £7.99 I think?

I need four for the youngetst ones - have an 'order' from the things for one monster high and one Moshi monsters (the other two haven't decided yet). Luckily boy#1 is quite happy with a clear plastic box.
Also if you want to go super cheap, Poundland do plain pink and blue insulated lunch bags, they're not too bad, they do the job.
I got an angry birds one from Next. Was £8 including flask.
I bought a cooler bag in Asda yesterday and happened to notice that they'd got quite a few kids' lunch boxes on display, which might meet your requirements. (NB: If you do look for them in Asda you need to know that, in my local store at least, cooler bags and lunch boxes are displayed in two different areas. There are a few in the 'seasonal goods' aisle, alongside barbecue accessories etc, but the place you probably need to look is in the 'regular' aisles, alongside kitchenware, etc).
Keep on eye on the Lidl and Aldi sites they have these sort of bargains on a weekly basis
Try TKMaxx...they often have a good selection.
lunchboxes very reasonable at Home bargains and also at BM shop, also poundstretcher does lunchboxes at reasonable prices
am i missing something ... do people really pay £15 for a plastic box?

^ I'm not paying £15! They are insulated soft bag things that ou put the food into. Problem is that they all want ones with Disney stuff on or Moshi monsters, etc which jacks up the price (I have found some that mine want now for £8 each - but they will last the year and will be on their last last legs by next July).
Depending on where you are, of course, you could try gift shops like the seaside type, as they sell lunch boxes: I picked up a Thomas the Tank Engine lunch box for a Christmas present last year for £7.99, and there were others also at around the same price. I believe it is worth looking into.
Maybe not an obvious choice.... but Paperchase do some great childrens lunchboxes - some cute designs!
