Where have all the Avon ladies gone?? I had one for years but now no one seems to do it.  I used to be an Avon erm lady (!)  many years ago - several small children thought my name actually was Avon!

I think most of this disappeared when avon got their website up and running! It's great you can order all online and get the next brochure sent to you at the same time!

When I moved here 3 years ago I went on the Avon website and requested a visit from a local rep. I now have an 'Avon lady' (who lives in the same village as I do). It's more personal than using a website, and she's also very knowledgeable about the products. A few people have mentioned in passing that they used to get Avon products but don't have a rep so have managed to pass on some customers to her.

In my case it was Avon Lady who'd gone flying on the uneven path / tripped over little Johnny's skateboard / fallen flat after too much sherry with the customers at Christmas!!

We have one here Robinia.  Love Avons stuff its actually quite good.  If they have become extinct in your area you could breed a few and start from there ??

I have an Avon lady but don't buy so much these days.I am beyond help! They used to do a good cheap mousturiser but they discontinued it.
I used to love the cream perfumes years ago.
"Somewhere" was my favourite and "Occur".

Yes Shaney "Somewhere" was lovely. I also loved "Topaz" It was in alovely shaped bottle with a topaz stone on the lid.

Oh Avon memories - do you remember Pretty Peach cream perfume in a little barrel of peaches pot?  It was meant for the young ones but I loved the smell & people always commented on how nice it smelt.

shaneystar it's the moisturisers that I've always loved too & I'll soon be coming to the end of my reserves!  I used to stockpile it when it was on offer!!

My Mum is an Avon lady.  There must be a few around where we live as they keep trying to poach her customers!

She's done it on and off for about 15 years now.

Yes they used to do a really good cream in a jar with a pink label.
It was one of their "basics".They replaced it with another one which I didn't like at all.
Pretty Peach was lovely too and there was another one in a white jar the name of which escapes me.I used to love all the novelty perfume bottles they brought out at Christmas.Some of these are collectors items now!

I know several friends that still have Avon. One of my friends is an Avon rep - they do still exist!!!

A real live Avon lady gemmabe - hurray!  The bad news is you've a long way to come to me in Derbyshire...and I'll ask you to come back on ???day when I've got some money!!  Do they still do that? It used to make me a bit annoyed. :-)

Had 1 woman this week- her daughter was home alone and didn't have the money - fair enough, so I returned the next day - no answer - and left a card to call me - 4 days later and no reply! Order is �25 aswell, not very happy!

Yes gemmabe that's what has put me off starting again.  Well that & going out knocking at doors on the the dark nights, they'll think I'm trick or treating!!
