I've bought one of those Inca style wooly hats for when it gets really cold. Apart from that I'll make do.
That sounds lovely and cosy sandyroe do you know something we don't about a severe winter,or are you just hedging your bets?
No, and I don't need to. I use warm base layer clothing and microfleeces when it gets really cold.
Not yet but I feel a Primark spree on tights, leggings and little furry boots coming soon.

I hate imitation pockets, I need real ones!

Am going to go through what I have before going out to buy more though, got gloves, a snood and such which are ok though my hat has seen better days.

Hi Sandy as long as the head is warm you are ok keeps the brain intact!
Yes, I bought a Thermal Waffle Henley yesterday, that should help keep me warm.
It'll serve a double function. When I can't afford the heating it'll make a great nightcap.
They are putting yet another rise in power prices into force before November sandyRoe so keep it close you may need it!
Though there have been times recently when I've felt a brimming beaker of Jamesons wouldn't go amiss.
as a nightcap.
Thinking on though, I could do with a waterproof coat!
I avoid M&S for clothes as the moment you walk out the store you see at least three people wearing what you have just bought.

Not to mention that the quality of M&S basics has gone through the floor in recent years.

I think the last item of M&S clothing I bought was five years ago.

I have only just started getting into my autumn wardrobe and wearing a wooly-Pully and socks instead of flip flops! My winter wardrobe purchases are way out on the horizon.
I bought a coat in M&S yesterday. I tried it on when I got home and thought it might be a little tight when I get a thick jumper underneath it, so looked on the website and found it was 20% cheaper on the internet than buying it in store. So today I took back the one I bought in store and I have ordered another one to collect on Friday!
