oh i see. i thought you meant recommendations of thimngs to buy. It's expensive, but on the plus side, like other shop direct catalouges (littlewoods etc) you can pay weekly
I did not find them expensive. In fact the item I bought was the cheapest price on the market. I didn't open account, just paid what I owed. Item arrived within one working day.
Very.co is a site about art, which doesn't appear to sell anything!
However I assume that you're referring to Very.co.uk. It's part of the Shop Direct Group, which was formed from the old catalogue companies (Littlewoods, Kays, John Moores, Great Universal, Empire Stores). As such, it's one of the largest online retailers in the UK and just as dependable as any other big name (such as Amazon).
Stay away - someone I worked with nearly got very burnt by them. The interest and other fees (about 4 of them) were penurious, amounting to a £150 bill becoming £340 overnight....... Eventually after two letters and two phone calls, one to a director, the account was restored to normality and no penalty paid, and the credit record wiped clean.
I've used them, bought something on 3 months interest free, made payments online, very prompt delivery. Not had any problem, long as you make payments when asked, like any other company.
I bought one thing, paid directly in full and no problems at all - however they pee me off with constant e-mails about 'prudie we miss you' and I also now get loads of e-mails from Mankind and the Hut Group - who I've never used.
Yeah, I buy from there, I don't like the postage cost though, so try kandco, free postage, free return pick up and same range. There is a slight price difference to accommodate postage, so bear that in mind. Also very charges interest, and kandco don't. Hope that helps.
