I am looking to buy a new divan bed with storage.
Can the headboard be put at either end.reason for asking is that the bed will be along one wall so need the two drawers to open at the side that is not.So if the headboard can go at either end ,that will be ok.
Does anyone know if one can do this??
If you look closely at the opp end to where the H/Board is fitted Ecces, you may see a cut in the cloth where the screw holes are. Could have a debate on this eh?
We had a laugh yesterday when we noticed a drawer divan in a local furniture shop - the sign said "special offer, FREE DRAWERS". what normally happens, then, the drawers are extra ?!
What about a lift up bed instead? Two advantages...it doesn't matter which end the headboard is, and you use all the space under the bed rather than just a couple of drawers. We have one, it's easy and light to use.
Eccles, I don't dispute what you have said, butjust look in the area where the head board should go and press the cloth inwards, we have bought 2 within the last 2 years with a reversible H.B
I don't know why I did it as I know my bed is mono-directional, but to satisfy TWRs curiosity I have felt the end of the bed and not at all surprisingly there is nowhere for a head board to go......because the bed is designed to have a head and foot end, not to be rotated.
Yes I did, I went with the Natura (?) one because it gave the depth. I hope it turns out OK, if it washes and wears well they will be getting a lot of my custom.
I have linen flat sheets but only use them as top sheets in the summer. I cannot be doing with flat sheets on the mattress too much effort so I opt for high thread count cotton fitted sheets for the mattress. I can't wait for these linen ones to be delivered!!!!!
