Does Anybody Know Where Aveeno 1% Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream ...

can be bought in the UK? I can find it on Amazon and Ebay but it all comes from the US or Canada and attracts high postage costs. The tube I have is from 2008, brought back from the States by a friend who gave it to me for mozzie bites and it's brilliant stuff. I've just been bitten again and my leg is swollen from the back of my knee to my ankle. Damned things I hate them. Anyway, is it not allowed to be sold here or something? Thank you for any answers:-)

You can buy 1% Hydrocortisone from any chemist. Generic or if you prefer branded look out for HC45

Thank you Eccles but I have HC45 cream and it isn't a patch on the Aveeno product. I believe it lacks other ingredients that Aveeno has, so I suppose that must be why.

It looks to have Aloe in it?
Maybe you could combine a generic 1% HC cream with an Aloe Vera product?

Thanks Baths it looks as if you can't get it here, loads of other Aveeno stuff in the chemists and supermarkets but not this. I wonder why. I do by far prefer it so I'll ask my friend who works for BA to bring me some back next time he's in the States. Didn't know till now you couldn't get it here.
