Obviously depends on the load being carried and how often it carries that load, comparable to a dumper truck really, if you carry heavy and frequent loads it aint gonna last as long!
Sqad was posting in the strip club thread a little while ago. They boys were misbehaving as usual.
Ladybirder - I have been fitted twice recently. Once in M&S and another in a local but post and expensive shop - both 48G. My bras are always comfort when they are on - but much more comfortable when I take them off.
I have taken this matter in hand, and I have looked into the subject (mainly with the expert help of Mrs. BB) quite deeply. She advises me that her - ahem - bras last considerably longer than 6 months, and she is by no means a lightweight in that department.
I only wear a bra when I go out, and sometimes not even then depending on the top I'm wearing. I hate the ruddy things with a passion. One of the great joys of campsites in France is the ability to slob around wearing next to nothing without feeling out of place.
Last year I updated my bra and knicker sets. I now have about eight different coloured bras with numerous pairs knickers to match and hope they last years. I used to only wear white or black underwear but now enjoy having loads of different colours.
I have a stupid amount of lingerie sets in a whole rainbow of colours. A friend is only allowed to wear black or white underwear as her husband does the laundry.
I bumped into them both when I was trying on hats for a wedding. He gave me advice on how to choose my hat, quite how he didn't have an umbrella rammed up his ass and then opened is still a mystery to me.......utterly abhorrent little twerp.
Most days I wear the same bra so about a year either when the wire starts poking out or the elastic doesn't lift anymore! I have some for special occasions or special tops and also quite a collection of coloured padded embellished M&S monstrosities that I get for Xmas and never wear.
But that's my gripe fluff, it shouldn't pop out. The rest of the bra is pristine -well almost. And now it is unusable and the thing is I have older bras of the same make and model which are fine.
I have started wearing the belvia bras at home and they are so comfortable-I'm a bra size 34 E and it still gives great support without wires. They go straight in the washer and dry quickly on a radiator. When I have to wear a 'proper' bra they feel so uncomfortable now
ael, that sounds like a bloke thing, wearing pants 4 days - inside, outside, back to front, front to back....
I've no idea how long my bras last, I've got about 8 which I wear whichever first comes to hand. All my knickers are black. Saves an awful lot of time faffing about trying to match up sets, and set-knickers rarely fit me anyway.
I would expect my expensive bra and knicker sets to last longer than 6 months, but my sports bras which I wore when playing squash, tennis, and going to the gym did well to last even that long.
Since retirement I don't bother with underwear so obviously save a fortune............
