Was looking for a jacket in a catalogue that I liked and came across another cardigan effect coat that I also liked. When I was perusing various catalogues - same jacket was £50 in one cata and £39 in the other - £11 of a difference - robbers half of them.
I never ever shop for bargains or discount but I will now.

Back in the 80's, I was looking for an evening dress. I saw a lovely one in my local well to do ladies clothes shop. It was £200.
I loved it but thought that was too expensive. The next week I was 40 miles away and thought I'd look in at a dress shop there. The exact same dress was for sale at £100!!!!
I bought it.

I had my eye on some curtain material at the local market. I know where it comes from as it`s imported from India. It was £11 per yard. I saw it in John Lewis for £33 per metre. There was a man standing beside me who was buying metres and metres of it. I had to stop myself from saying "Do you know how much that costs down at Kempton Market?"
