I have a Breville four slice toaster. Had it about 10 years with no issues.

We're on our second Breville after 30 years of domestic bliss!
You can't go wrong with a Breville Toaster - any model.

Thanks ummmm
I've been looking for a toaster for weeks, some of them - Duallit for example - are phenomenally expensive and arty farty. You need to specify if you want 2 or 4 slice, wide slot, long slot, Begel warmer etc......
Ours is a Breville Quartz. It beeps a few times when toast is ready to pop.

Thank you Baldric and Fanriffic. Breville seems to be unanimous! Hope I can get it here in Canada.
I'm going all nostalgic for a roaring fire and a toasting fork.
The first proper thing one ever made in metalwork lessons. So many kids in our house, all same school - we had more toasting forks than hell itself.
now mosaic, stop that right now!!! lol, i´m going to shed a nostalgic tear, i can still remember the coal fires, and the toasting forks from the early 70´s. electric toaster isn´t quite the same.
My toaster is fine but the Juicer probably has issues

Hardly surprising being in the same cupboard for 5 years without seeing daylight!
My toaster is quite old, never gave me any trouble, makes fine toast, is easy to clean, and only cost a fiver from tesco.
I suppose that is tempting fate, and tomorrow it will burst into flames
Absit omen
