Hi can I ask. If you add a friend in Facebook but didn't want anyone to know, could you like still have them as a friend but like hide them or something. If you know what I mean

I believe so, but your privacy settings have to be configured a certain way. Don't have a clue how, all I know is that I have seen people who don't have the friends details available to view. You will probably need to access via the web rather than with an app.

Do you mean so your other friends on FB wouldn't know or others who can physically see your account on your laptop/PC/phone etc?
Not that I know but that might need clarifying.
