Good Mattress Topper ...advise

any of you got a mattress topper ? ive just bought a new bed and mattress so want to buy a nice thick topper, nothing too expensive .

any ideas or advice plz. also do i need to put a fitted sheet over the topper ?

I recently bought a 'memory foam' one and it's heaven, couldn't imagne not sleeping on one now. It was £59.99 and worth every penny !

We had to buy extra deep fitted sheets to fit over the mattress topper on our super king size bed. They're not very easy to find, but eventually got them in John Lewis. One we bought from Dunelm wasn't deep enough.

However....memory-foam is a Marmite thing.....some people love it, some hate it (including me).

if your matress is new, and presumably comfy, why do you need a topper?

I've heard that these toppers can make you get too hot!

They can get hot cupid, which is why ours will come off in the summer months.

B and M. Sell nice ones not expensive. I always use a top sheet but its personal choice

I bought mine to keep the matress clean in case of unexpected stains . They are easier to wash than a mattress. I keep it on all year but have a lighter weight duvet in summer.

I have one from Aldi. It is very good and I use a top sheet over mine.
