does anyone remember the name of a doll?

Daft question, I know, but it is driving me mad!  About 15 years ago my friend had a doll that when you pulled her head it was on a piece of elastic that when you let it go it said "i am losing my head over you" and snapped back on to the dolls body!  Does anyone remember either having one or even better where I might be able to get one !!

I'm afraid not, but it sounds like great fun! I remember having a doll which if you raised her arm her hair grew!

The doll with the hair and the arm was Tressy. I had one - she had a fountain of hair in the middle of her head that came out when you lifted her arm. You had to insert a key into her back to wind it back in.

My daughter had one years ago. She is 33yrs now. Used to drive you mad but good fun for her. I dont know what they were called but it probably came from woolworths as we lived on the Isle of Whight at the time and there were not many shops to buy that sort of thing. If you say your friend had one about 15 yrs ago it looks like they have already done the round twice already. Hope you find one

there is a web site www.wwvisions.com which mention a doll like this. It is called a cyberspace doll with that saying but I do not remember the name.

I remember that doll and the annoying repetitive american voice too, nasty.  It used to have about 4 or 5 diffrent sayings, cant remember any of the others apart from one contained a "Whoooops!"

According to google, its a Talking Head Doll....although that could be completely incorrect! I don't remember these at all!

i had forgotten all about these dolls until i just read your question, Wow, that brings back some memories, I had one of these and she also used to say "here comes my body", but i"m sorry to say i dont think you can buy these any more.

Have you found the answer yet?  I'm desperate to find one of these dolls that say "here comes my body".  My husband had one in the seventies and want to get him one as a surprise for Christmas to share with our new son.  Even if you know the name of the doll (he can't remember), if you would let me know, I would be grateful.

HiI, there! Since I last posted a question to you, I've found the name of the doll that says "here comes my body". It's called Mattel Talk Up and is from 1971. The one that says "here comes my body" is the brunette coloured doll with the voice of Joanne Warley from show "Laugh In!"
