Why is it still virtually impossible to get in the UK waitrose Seam to have stopped selling it with the way Halloween is now hyped up here you would think it would be easy to buy ,
And on line it's £11 for 3 cans online !!!!any idea in London where it can be purchased ,
Many thanks

All forms of pumpkin are revolting. The only use for them is to carve lanterns; the rest should be binned.
I imagine that tinned pumpkin is somewhat worse than fresh pumpkin....and that's bad enough.
i got three for 9.46 delivered free on amazon

Unfortunately Tesco doesn't stock it even though it shows on its website !
And I really don't want to pay £9.46 for 3 cans when it is normally £1.50 a can !
As much as I love pumpkin I can't bring myself to even think about tinned pumpkin.
It's not available where I live and if it were I doubt it would sell.
I don`t know if these people keep it in stock all year but they are in London http://www.partridges.co.uk/index.php/fuseaction/shop.product/categoryid/1/productid/2742
Pumpkin pancakes are deliceous.
It's very easy to do yourself. I use butternut squash, which tastes virtually the same. Cut one in half lengthways, scoop out the seeds and stringy bits, put in a a baking tin cut side down with a cup or so of water, lightly cover with foil and bake until soft. Don't let all the water evaporate. Leave to cool, scoop out and hey presto !
think i'll get some in for next year so i can throw the full cans at trick or treaters
I bought tinned pumpkin last year for Halloween but found it difficult to carve a scary face in to it. ;)
