I often buy odds and ends for my neighbour when I go supermarket shopping and she does the same for me. No rewards expected or given.

No because I like to pick over the special offers and then make meals around whats on sale.
I would go do shopping for someone as long as I didn't have to put it away when I delivered it. That's the worst part of shopping.

Shopping is easier than both of these tasks. I get most of my shopping done online and it suits me.

Yes in fact they already do - I employ Tesco to do it.

I like to shop around markets etc, get super-market stuff either delivered or I go bargain hunting if I go myself, so I wouldn't be adverse to anyone shopping for me and I don't mind shopping for anyone else. I wouldn't want paying though.

I have a cleaner who not only changes my bedding and hoovers but also does my shopping. Money well spent IMO. She has her instructions, such as never bring me anything with the Prince's label. I couldn't do without her.

Prince's might make for M and S but M and S don't make any of their own food. Everything is made to their spec by contractor factories.

If someone knew my likes and dislikes, then yes. But I'd worry about what a hired shopper would bring back. I'm a bit of a fusspot...and I do like rooting around in shops and markets. I people watch and shopping cart watch too. Nosey? Moi?
