Alcohol Delivery To Liverpool...

This seems like an incredibly ridiculous request, but I’ve a friend flying a long way to the UK with his family member who has just found out that she has a rare cancer that they don’t even treat in his home country.. So they’re fortunate enough to be able to pay privately for treatment in the UK.. I’m devastated as I won’t be around and nothing makes him feel better than when we both go for a major drinking sesh.. So here’s the strange part, I need a bottle of something delivering to his hotel room.. it may sound silly, or inconsiderate to some.. but it’s just our thing.. but I’ve no idea how to go about doing this! When he finds out what hotel he’s going to be in (he comes tomorrow but not sure they have anything booked yet) do I just ring the hotel and see if they can sort something for me? I don’t care about the cost.. or is there another service anywhere that provides this? We have something local that does this for my area but wasn’t sure of anything similar around Liverpool.. thanks..

Probably easiest would be to ask hotel to deliver it to his room (providing they have a bar). Won't be the cheapest, but as I say the easiest.

The hotel will supply the alcohol to his room and will probably be very pleased to do so and leave a little welcome card.

phone a local booze shop, they can usually arrange a delivery.....
