I bought 3 bottles of La Falda Blanca white wine in Morrisons. As far as I know the only place to sell it. £4.25 a bottle. The wine is noticeably darker than a previously one I’ve bought, and sweeter. I know you’ll probably say what do you expect from paying peanuts. But shouldn’t it be of a consistent quality.
oh christ why did you buy white wine when you know I like red? and expensive one such as Crozes Hermitage - yeah call it "crow's zermy targe" if you want but get some.....
But, on a more negative note, perhaps the bottle that's darker than your previous one is oxidised - due to a poor cork or seal. Are all three bottles the same darker colour?
But shouldn’t they blend it ( cheap wines are blended unlike more expensive that are from one grape variety). so it’s a dry rather than a semi sweet. I don’t like sweet wines.
If you check the bottles illustrated here you will different shades of the wine.https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en-GB&authuser=0&ei=oz4WXK2OMtaP1fAPuNCk0AQ&q=la+falda+blanca+wine+&oq=la+falda+blanca+wine+&gs_l=psy
La Falda Blanca is just a 'Trademark' name owned by Morrisons. It is NOT the name of a specific vintage, area or type of wine. So there will be differences between bottles bought at different times.
