Floor Steamer

I had that Hx5 and whilst I have it a while I really have only used it about 4 times.

Tried to use it last week and it lights up per se but no steam.

Anyway does anybody know of a floor steamer which has a release button (for steam when required) - thanks

I have the Hx5 and the first thing I'd check if there is no steam is that holes have not caked up with limescale while it's not being used. I have had this problem several times by not using a water softener each time. Spray some Viakal (or other limescale remover) on the bottom plate and also put some in the reservoir with some water, leave it for a bit and then switch on and see if that makes a difference.

right - put the vinegar as instructed - what is happening the steam is coming out of the push off and on button which is too hot to touch - also felt the bottom - cold. - is it finished before it's begun. thanks

how long have you had it?

I have it a few years but to be honest only used literally about 4 or 5 times so am disappointed.

Brought it to a vacuum repair guy - he said he doesn't repair them.

OK if you have had it that long and only used it a few times is it worth buying a new one? I mean its not as if its used is it?

good answer cos I do have very good mops vileda etc no I've told myself after that Air Fryer not being used - no more gadgets. Mind made enough. thanks
