I've seen a suite I like but the site itself jumps all over the place not allowing you to focus on the item.

I have had EXCELLENT service from my local SCS, not Scotland though.

I had great service when I bought my suite off them 9 years ago. Suite still in first class condition :)

ScS have nearly 100 stores across Great Britain but none (unfortunately for JennyJoan) in Northern Ireland and I can find no information on their website which suggests that they can deliver to NI. Sorry!

there are loads of furniture shops but they are too far back, too hard, too high, too soft to bloody everything. This suite I'm looking at is very like my old one and I would love to sit on it LOL.

How about Keens? The sell Parker Knoll, amongst others. I like the look of a lot of their suites but of course you have to try before you buy.

Anybody advise about this. Have nieces and nephew live in Glasgow - is there anything they could do for me - like I'd need to sit on the thing before anything. But my brother's ashes need to be brought over to Belfast as the nieces etc want him buried on Irish soil next to his twin who is buried here (Belfast). I can't talk to them on the phone because I don't understand one word they say - not one.

What make is the SCS suite?

There are 4 ScS stores in Glasgow and one in Kilmarnock.

The one I like now - they have same in DFS and I viewed and sat on it and thought I was sitting on a lump of newspapers. unbelievable

Don't buy a suite from SCS - if you have a problem with it you will lots of problems getting it rectified simply because they don't operate anywhere in Ireland.
