In a high street budget shoe store there is a similar pair of trainers to my usual sketchers pairs at approx 1/3 price
Would it be money down the drain? I usually wear mine constantly and walk for ever

TIA

wear 2 pairs of socks - and carry some dressing with you, what you need is to have a little extra padding in there.

I find sometimes it can be hit and miss, I've found some cheaper options (generally) have been great before now and lasted but if you use them heavily then I wouldn't expect them to last as long in a decent condition.

For offers on Sketchers themselves, have you got a QVC outlet or Sports Direct near you? Have had Sketchers on really good discounts from there before now.

Wyndsor's World of Shoes (or something like that) had a sale on when I went by the other day and I'm sure I've seen Sketchers in there before now.
I think it's best to pay as much as you can afford for shoes which you are going to be wearing on a daily basis.
Don't skimp on footwear, it's not worth it.

Thanks for your answers
I tend to be heavy on my feet and walk an awful lot so I’ll keep my eyes out for sales
Thanks for the link Tilly
I'd just buy the cheapest trainers I could find and buy proper shoes for walking in.
If you have a designer outlet (MacArthur glen) near you, it may have a sketchers shop. Bought a pair that were £59 in the middle of York for £36 in designer outlet. Identical!

I have accidentally bought 4 pairs of walking shoes from Clarke’s in the sale!
Every time I went to checkout it said payment not accepted!
Needless to say three are going back

They’re pretty though aren’t they
Trouble is with Clark’s - and all shoes tbf - I always get blisters on the heel bit - any advice?
