We're having chicken, peas, carrots, broccoli, savoy cabbage, Green beans, cauiflower and parsnip purèe and sprouts with gravy.

I might have a G&T to go with.

What's on your menu today? xx

Just finished roast chicken, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots and gravy. Bloody delicious !
We had shoulder of lamb with roast potatoes, tender stem broccoli and pak choi. It was lovely. And a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
Forgive me LadyCG, but I was just wondering what size plates you have for that lot? ;o)
You have a lot of veg, LadyCG. I couldn’t be bothered with all the prepping.
Serving is done via a recycled sushi bar conveyor. :-)
Frozen mixed vegetables, sold in all supermarkets.
Roast chicken, roasties, mixed veg all washed down with wine.
Still enjoying my first organic veg box - and ‘making it up as I go along’ sort of dinners.

Today looks like a spicy ground beef ragout with local onions, peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms. Probably with a couple of baked Kerrs Pink spuds and (if I can be bothered) some creamy/cheesy leeks.
Too early for me to eat. My supper will be about 1900hrs. Lamb chops and kidneys with various fresh veg.

Sounds lovely, Sam.

Builder, I only have one spoon of each. I always do lots of veg as I make lots of little meals to freeze down for the little 'un. We're stockpiling atm as were going to lose the kitchen soon.

Clo-Jo, you've made me want wine now! I can't wait to visit Slovenia next year and do a wine-tasting trip.

That's an odd lunch, AA, but whatever floats your boat.

Sharon, now you've really made me want wine!! :-)

That sounds lovely, Dave. A little libation to accompany?

Retro, sounds very nice but I'd have to ditch the kidneys!
Roast beef and Yorkshire’s,carrot, brocolli, turnip and potatoes and home made rhubarb crumble and custard for afters
I'm doing a beef lasagne for tea tonight.
Toad in the hole with chips and gravy, keeping it simple I'm not that adventurous today.
Not my lunch nm . ,!
//Retro, sounds very nice but I'd have to ditch the kidneys! //

It's a sort of hot pot jumble just to use meat from the freezer. The kidneys are cut up small and sinew core removed. They are there to flavour the gravy really.

Sounds lovely, Bobbi. I haven't done roasties today but I think I might have some parsnips in the freezer...

I haven't done a lasagne in ages, Tony, and I keep promising the OH...
Question Author
Arky, I reckon my OH would swap his dinner for yours.

AA, phew! I almost felt sorry enough for you to invite you to mine. Almost.
I don't know if I can be bothered.
