Soviet is an Italian company (although it's most likely that all of their products are actually made in the Far East). They started out making jeans but have expanded into other clothing, including footwear. In the UK they retail their products almost exclusively through Sports Direct.
Like much of what's sold in Sports Direct, the products are probably somewhat over-priced at the manufacturer's RRP but actually quite good value at the discounted prices that Sports Direct provide.

I bought a pair of Soviet boots from Sports Direct sometime last year.
You get what you pay for. The quality is by no means shoddy, but it's not top end either. I paid around £25 - £30 for my boots, they're comfortable, I like the style and they're in the price range that I wanted to pay.
If you're after top end goods, then this isn't for you. However, if you're happy with mid-range, then I'm sure you'll be happy with this brand :)
