I have no choice but to take a vulnerable to hospital next week. Where can I get a good face mask from? I believe a lot on the market are rubbish.

To be pedantic, the advice (for those in your situation) is currently to wear a 'face covering', rather than a (proper) 'face mask'. That means that things like scarves are seen as just as acceptable as purpose-made face masks. (They certainly are at my local GP's surgery, where all visitors are asked to wear 'face coverings', rather than 'face masks').
However, if you still want to get hold of a face mask, any pharmacy should be able to sell you one. (Our local pharmacy, on the same site as the GP's surgery, charges £7.99 for a washable one or £1.99 for a disposable one).

I personally think the best and most comfortable mask you can buy is the N95 face mask. It is quite comfortable and easy to wear, that is, there is no discomfort from it, as you would expect from a conventional medical face mask. The main problem with such an N95 mask is only that it is quite difficult to find in the city and most likely it will be much easier to simply order. I think you can find many interesting and unusual masks and where you can buy them through the service https:/ /pandem icpal.n et/face -masks- cold-fl u-preve ntion/ . There are many different types of masks and a description of each of them. I hope this site will help you in choosing a mask that you can wear on the street. Until you have a mask, it's best to just grab a scarf or bandana and wrap it around your face.
