Oh no it’s not.

Got an email yesterday at 4 pm saying cut-off changed to YESTERDAY at 1030pm.

I don’t check emails constantly, so now I’m stuck with my ‘dummy’ order (2 bottles of champagne which we don’t drink) and NO food!

Ocado’s response to me (customer since 2005)? Very sorry, we won’t send the champagne..

No problems, in fact they offered me a 'Waitrose Rapid' slot - for a fiver, they are sending round £25-worth of essentials in the next few hours.

Top service. Ocado could learn a few things from their old partners...

Same happened to me in te last lockdown meaning I was due to get a £50 bottle of malt when people were clamouring for food slots!

Yes, you're right, 25 items, but that more than covered the essentials that I'm going to be out tomorrow morning due to Ocado's peremptory action.

Actually, I was so chuffed to be able to order eggs/milk/etc that I didn't take that much notice of the terms - my basket was £25 quid, for about 15 items.
